To Bottle or to to keg.
I have brewed a woodfords wherry and have bottled and kegged the brew, and have noticed quite a big difference in taste, why is this? and what do you think is better, bottle or keg.
There's definitely a big difference between bottled and kegged beer, a lot of which is down to the higher level of carbonation in bottled beer. CO2 forms acid when dissolved in water, and also in beer, increasing the bitterness. Also, the gas alters the mouth-feel.
I prefer draught beer over bottled; I find it tastes smoother.
