Try one and see, some people seem to like them so you should at least get a drinkable beer if not spectacular, but what kit ever is?

the lager is no nonsence and makes a good continental lager, light in clolour but very little on the hop front. doing the bitter at the mo. for the price they are alot better than any Youngs, harvest or definative, but not as quality as coopers or a two can muntons (woodfordes/milestone)

Geordie kits make a good session style beer of about 3.6% but I would recommend using spraymalt (100% or 50/50 with sugar) to bring out the best in them. I'm very impressed with the Bitter, Mild, Yorkshire Bitter and Scottish Export, less so with the lager. They mature quickly but the other side of the coin is that they are past their best at a time when more expensive kits reach their prime.
