Muntons beerkit Enhancer

I bought a 1.6 Kilo Youngs Difinitive Bitter kit from wilkos the other week for £6.99 so I thought I would use a pack of Muntons Beerkit Enhancer with it to give more flavour, body etc. I have never used it before, When is the best time to add it to the kit so it disolves properly?

Add it immediately after you've poured in the malt extract and boiling water to your FV. You will need to stir well to thoroughly dissolve before adding the additional cold water.

Not like it says on the instructions then? It says to add it before any water I thought it didn,t sound right cos it would go lumpy if you poured it onto the LME.

hell yeah.

i always warm up the lme in a pan of boiling water for 10 mins before adding it to the fv, then rinse the can out with boiling water into the fv, twice.
then sprinkle and stir the enhancer/dme so it all dissolves properly.
ive had no problems with clumping at all. not sure if its because i try and keep everything hot to start with.

I suspect they mean the top water water to a 40 pint total since it would be impossible to dissolve spraymalt/enhancer in malt extract without at least 4-6 pints of boiling water.
