i am new to this game, made one succesful batch of youngs beer. Tasted great.
i started a batch of youngs cider on Sat 31st Jan it is supposed to reach an SG of 998 or less before barreling (this is being kept in my airing cupboard which is kept warm)
it is currently reading 1006 and still tiny bubbles surfacing although there seems to be yeast surfacing too which as soon as it reaches the surface it sinks again
is this normal?
many thanks
My cider will not stop fermenting
Re: My cider will not stop fermenting
As long as it smells and tastes ok I would say it's just fermenting slowly.
