Why not use light spray malt and dry hop with Saaz hops?

I was thinking something similar for my next brew! I want something like Pilsner Urquell- nice and hoppy. Which hops do you reccomend for lagers and what protocol?
Also do you reccomend crystal malt or anything else besides the kit?

Thanks!

Saaz is your classic Pilsner hop. Hallertauer is also very popular in lagers.

I don't know about speciality grains. Most of them are fairly dark and will give you toffeeish and roasty flavours as well as darkening your beer. That's all very well in bitters and stouts, but is that what you want in your lager? If so, go ahead :D

Crystal will make it amber!

If you want hop bitterness as well as aroma and want stronger, German-ish hop notes, try boiling in a little extra Saaz as well as dry hopping with it. ;)
