Quick & dirty brew

I'm getting tired of waiting for my lagers to erm.. lager.
Any ideas for a quick 'n' dirty brew, 2 or 3 weeks from pitching to quaffing?
I was thinking in terms of a light ale or a bitter.
Any suggestions?

If you want something to quaff asap you'd probably be best looking at doing a Wheat Beer.

Ordinary bitters are pretty fast, especially if you use a yeast like S04. Avoid high gravity brews, they need longer to mature.
