Enhancer or DME or just sugar for a cider kit?

Can you use DME or enhancer for a cider kit or will it affect the taste too much? so best to stick to sugar? and which is the best sugar to use household white, brown cane, demerera or brewing sugar?

Cider contains no malt. Use sugar, as for what type, I would reccomend trying different types and seeing which you prefer. Turbo cider is a great (and cheap) way to experiment, have a look in the Other Brews forum.
