Mixing kits

Is it possible to mix one can from two different kits; i.e. one can woodforde's wherry + one can of woodforde's Nelson's revenge, to make woodforde's Bastard bitter? I am pretty new to this, but have brewed a few successful kits. I am feeling the need to experiment, any help & tips extremely welcome. Cheers Matt. :o

Woodforde's Wherry & Milestone's Crusader, both very good & it seems idiot proof!

That sounds an interesting idea, like mix an IPA with a Stout or Dark Ale etc ;)
