Made an EDME Irish stout kit (40 pints) using a 1kg bag of Geordie beerkit enhancer.
EDME Irish stout is stuck at 1.010
i started the kit last wednesday
has been like this since friday 1.010
should i put more yeast in or add sugar etc
i rehydrated the yeast in 30 degree water for half an hour most of the yeast sat on the bottom of the jug. is this right?
any suggestions would br breatfully received

1010 sounds fine to me mate and if its been steady for a couple of days id keg or bottle.
I never managed to get a kit lower than 1014.

Yeah 1.010 sounds pretty good tbh, you havent said what the start gravity was, but ive only ever had 1 kit go below 1.010 an that was a coopers lager. It would only be considered stuck at around the 1.020 mark i would have thought.

1010 to me sounds like a good result form a OG of 1040 although ive never done the kit myself.

should end up over 4 percent abv with secondary ferment.
