My local HB only has coopers kits and 2 cheaper kits and no ingrediants for extract brewing, so can I experiment by putting two kits together instead of one kit and sugar? Also would I use only one pack of yeast as usual or two?
If so I'll experiment by splitting kits in two so will brew a few different types in 11.5 ltr batches in mini FV's
What do you think?
Two kits in one brew?
Re: Two kits in one brew?
two cans of hopped malt extract but the amount of hop bitterness contained in each of the cans is half of the bitterness in the one can kits. therefore the total bitterness is equal.
Re: Two kits in one brew?
Thanks for that guys, makes sense now
I think I might just mix the two kits and make two brews with spraymalt or sugar so the final amount will be the same as one can's worth
