Here we go, hopefully these pictures are a bit different from what I just posted:

First things first. Shovel off the brewing area. You got snow, we got snow, it melted and then froze. Wonderful.

Figured out that if I crush the grains higher up I won't have to kneel in the snow. Brilliant thinking for a Sunday morning.

Here's the yeast starter ready to pitch. I used a combination of Wyeast's Irish Ale and Yorkshire ale that I'd harvested. This is also a picture of the bar back area of my future pub/brew storage room. Very much a work in progress.
OK wife stole the camera and went skating with the kids so here are a few more future pub pictures:


Beer is still in the primaries and need to take a gravity reading as the telltale "funk on the shoulder of the carboy" is not there. I'll put one on the engine and one on gas and I will use gelatin for the first time to see how that turns out.
