Cheers, first time I've used Willamette so will be interesting but seems promising. First time with the Hooky yeast as well and it's going strong already :D

Well it turns out that the yeast I lifted from a couple of bottles of Hogs back TEA is in fact S04 as their beer is filtered and reinoculated, I wondered why it got to 1.010 in 3 days, never mind I'll try Brakspear next time or just stick with Hop Back.

I wonder why Wychwood bottle condition Brakspear and not their own? Annoying with the yeast cultivation Scooby but at least you have fun necking the beers you cultivate though.

No idea, there is one Wychwood beer I liked can't remember which one but I doubt bottle conditioning the others would improve them.

Strange as it seems regarding the TEA I only got 2 bottles because I thought it was the hooky primary yeast, but it's another beer that I don't particularly like, I find it has a strong and unpleasant taste.

I do enjoy some of the Wychwood beers; Goliath and Circle master. I suppose part of the fun for me in yeast cultivation is using the same strain as the brewery for a close yeast profile. Bottle conditioning with a yeast strain that compacts well but adds no profile sounds to me like bottle conditioning for the sake of bottle conditioning.
