Summer Honey Zest Ale

Post by floydmeddler » Sat Mar 14, 2009 1:00 pm

My own little recipe which I've been excited about now for a while. The sun has started making an appearance so I though I'd better get started!

I did something similar to this using LME so hoping the all grain version will be even better! It's a light blonde that bursts with zesty freshness. A real spring/summer brew.

Ended up with a gravity reading of 1058 :D

My efficiency must be higher than I'd imagined!

Summer is bubbling away in the background... Smells great already!

A really stress free and enjoyable brew night where everything just... worked.

It sounds like a nice beer, i may just have to have a go at brewing that one, i`ve got some Saaz
and some Hallertau in the freezer just need the honey.

Hope it turns out ok for you, let us know and i`ll give it a whirl.
