Pretty good water question
Pretty good water question
I got some good test strips that give you alkalinity, pH and chlorine. Do you not worry that both your pH and alkalinity drop? I get the alkalinity down to a good range, put it appears to strip by pH.
Re: Pretty good water question
My test strips are indicating a pH of around 6.5 with alkalinity of about 100. I had to add some sodium bicarbonate to bring it up.

With honey wholegrain mustard, on a home-made 30% wholemeal bun, slices of garden tomatoes, shredded garden lettuce and homemade mayo. Simmer Wurst for 20 minutes, then dump the water, add some cooking oil to the frying pan, and fry them until browned on all sides. Check temp with digital thermometer (needs to be at least 85°C for parts of pig).
