Just cracked my geordie bitter kit at the weekend I did it with 50/50 extra dark dme and brew sugar .I also added a coopers goldings hop tea bag £1.20 from lhbs.Bloody lovely !Ive done this kit many times before and this is the best taste yet.The hop tea bag really make a difference and give that lovely hoppy aroma.Idont think its very strong [I made it up to 22ltr.] but its a nice session ale not to heavy and about 3.5 abv. Will post piccy when I can find camera  P.s Leave Chopperswookie alone .His video is state of the art .Mines got piano keys on it !

to put the record straight it was a VHS video on the floor. the ex finally moved out start of the month but she still has left alot of crap around. i don't actually have a vhs player only a really old dvd player. i am not really a gadgety person and don't feel impressed by HD so i normally buy dvd players and tv's run them until they break then buy a new one!

Err......Think I underestimated the strength of that geordie bitter .Had five and a half pints last night and was well pissed  Fell asleep and missed the end of the film I was watching .Woke up this morning felt rough as a bears arse. After the wife had fed me a snotty egg toastie and a couple of Paracetamol I felt a bit better and have been painting the bathroom all day.Think Ill give the beer a rest tonight and give my liver chance to recover.

Yeah it was a pic from my phone, don't have a proper camera.

Had a small house party sat, the modified youngs went down a storm with my ale orientated mates (getting towards the end of the barrel). And it certainly got me pissed so think its about the 5% mark. Result.

Gonna try souping up a Tom caxton next I think.....

Hi Chopperswookie. How did your Geordie bitter modification turn out? Also, how much crystal malt did you use?
