help needed beginner brewer

I am intending to bottle my milestone black pearl tommorow, and the standing gravity at the moment is 1013 and the avertised final gravity is 1009, i am going to rouse the yeast back into suspension but will it still be safe to bottle even if the standing gravity does not drop any further?

If fermentation has finished - take two readings (maybe three, if you're unsure) over 24/36 hrs, and if they're the same, it's finished. Then go ahead and bottle it. I've only done three brews and two have stuck at around 1020; the first I roused and and it finally got to 1013, staying there for 3 days. I bottled and it was fine - a nice drink. The second I added more yeast to and it finally dropped to 1017, I bottled this and, while it's not really ready, I've had a couple of bottles and it's very good too (in fact I'm drinking as I type :D ). I look forward to a brew that drops to 1009, but am happy for 1013 (if it's stable).

Generally I find the 'two can kits' never finish near the expected final gravity, Milestone kits, being made by Muntons, are no exception, 1013 is pretty decent and should make a tasty brew! Good luck

I've just done a Milestones Loin's Pride. It didn't stick but it took 13 days to get down to a steady reading of 1.010. Your beer hasn't stuck so I see no point in rousing the yeast. Just make sure its come down to a steady SG so you know that fermentation has finished.
Best wishes
