I have never posted here before but have been lurking for quite some time!
just wanted to give a big thanks to everyone on the forum for all the advice and knowledge I've picked up,
so far i have brewed a youngs lager (still in it keg, still cloudy and not much of a taste to it, has been conditioning for about a month, me thinks it might be something to do with it being a ale yeast, not sure on that one)
but i have also brewed a coopers brewmaster pilsner, younger than the youngs lager but already tastes lovely, fairly close to pilsner urquell in its depth and aroma. both kits used beer enhancer ( i only used 800g for the pilsner as directed)
have already got a second pilsener on the brew and have also got a pack of morgans finishing hops (saaz) which i thought were added after fermentation but instructions say to add before yeast? so will save that for the next brew (may need to get another FV!)

anyway take it easy guys and i hope homebrewing brings you as much satisfaction as it does me!
