In our local Wilkinsons it seems to mainly Geordie kits with the odd Woodford's. You could try searching for homebrew shops at www.yell.com

The Wilko's I shop at have a couple of the Cooper's Kits, the Woodforde's Kits, and the Geordie Kits, and they sell "Geordie Beer Enhancer" at £4.99 a kilo which is half brewers sugar, half spraymalt.

Some wilkos do not stock any HB stuff but most stock at least some. The bigger ones have the full range that they sell online here:

All Wilkos stores, however small, will get it in for you to pick up within a couple of days from your local store if it's on their stock list.

Hi,

The wilko's by us stocks coopers lager and bitter, woodfordes wherry, edme lager and bitter, youngs lager and bitter, tom caxton kits, and geordie kits also. All around the £9.99 mark apart from woodfordes which is £14.99.

Never seen DME, but they do have Geordie beer enhancer.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Hi Brian,

Which route is he coming across on? As there is an alternative to Wilko's if he is coming across to Holyhead.

Doing the coopers australian lager myself (first lager brew) £9.99 in wilko. They do alot of young's wine kits too... Coopers is quite recommended I think.

Where's your mate going to in wales? I'm in south wales and theres a few homebrew shops around here too... Much better selection there.

Let me know if you need the locations

cheers for all the info lads...
he is going from rosslare to Pembrooke.....he is from near Bridgend and said the local wilko's is 5 mins from him....might chance on of the wherry kits for myself as its only 14.99 = 16.5 euro ..they are 27 euro over here for 3kg kit....I do extract for myself but run off kits for my dad and uncle....you can never have enough stock. I live in Cork and they are trying to get the ferry to Swansea back up if they do i will be popping over for supplies myself...

Wilkos have only ever stocked the Wherry kit. It's a shame that they don't stock the complete Woodforde's range especially at their £14.99 price!

I guess their buyers have done a bulk deal on that one kit and it seems that everything they stock is via Young's Hombrew.

Perhaps we all ought to badger them to stock the complete range of Woodforde's kits?
