I will be there and will have a sample....preferences on type of sample preferred prior to the event will be welcome, but never fear it will be

See you there

Cheers

It's rude not to. When in Rome and all that...

No preference on sample, bring anything!

Anyone else??

I don't know whether this is bad etiquette but told the wife of the meet on Friday and she said it sounded fun. So will be there but with the wife in tow which may not be normal but she is Irish and loves her alcohol and always come to the beer festivals etc. I promise she will behave herself [-X , but is this kind of thing normally just the guys or do some of the girls come along as well?

Cheers

Girls don't normally join in, but only because they are not interested in talking beer all night and getting completely bladdered. The more the merrier is what i say :D

Any more takers??

Just wanted to say openly that last night was a bloody good night not only for the company and conversation but for my ego as well.

It was really good to meet you smp465 and you again Jubby. The brew talk was for me very informative I am surprised that there are not more takers for these social events. Whilst the forums are helpful, the chance to discuss in person recipe ideas and ingredients plus a host of many other things form knowledgeable home brewers, whilst enjoying the various brews on offer both in the pub and from our own bottles of take in home brew was invaluable. Having the barman and barmaid supping our beers  in the pub and giving us good feedback was the biggest laugh of them all and proves we can brew as good, if not better than the bigger boys.

My wife enjoyed herself too especially the discussion on the Belgian beers that we had. Cannot wait for the next get together and I hope that a few more brew heads get over their shyness and off their fat "SOFAS" and come down to support the Cambridge Massive.

Cheers again Guys =D>
