The lager has been in bottles in the shed for 3 weeks and i checked it today. It is clear but looks like pi##. If anyone has brewed this is it comon to look like this or have i done something wrong?Bit unsure about trying it now. :?

steve geordie if done to the 40 pints is a good 3.4-4% lager. i have found that the longer it stays in the bottles the lighter in colour it gets. don't forget when you syphoned it the brew still had all the live yeast in it so it would definatly look darker. leave it for a month, good session lager coming up.

I brewed a Geordie Lager in November last year and its looked like piss since then and tasted slightly worse. However I'm making my way through 2L of it at the moment and it tastes very much like Sainsburys dutch lager that I used to drink in days gone by (15+ years ago) - not wonderful but definitely drinkable - someone (can't remember who) suggested leaving it for a few months and it would improve and they were right. So if you can be patient leave it well alone for a few months and it should be at least drinkable if not wonderful
