I have a woodfordes nelson revenge in the FV. It was started Friday.
The original hydrometer reading was a 1040. Just tested again it is now 1014.
There is no foam or bubbling.
I have some yeast vit, is it worth nudging it along with a bit? How much should I put in?
Anyone online now can answer this?
Re: Anyone online now can answer this?
I would say that was about right, a stuck ferment is usually in the range 1022 to 1020, IMO 1014 is none too shabby

Thats good to hear, I've just checked my Coopers Real ale, Started at 1044, down to 1010 now and seems to have stopped, I thought I might get it down to around 1006 but it looks unlikely. tastes really good, think it should be great after a month or so in the barrel outside.
