Hippity Hoppity IPA
Name may change, unless I can't think of something better, would the seasoned recpie makers care to take a look at this. Thoughts? Change anything? Made up of what malt stocks I have left.

Sorry, I'm only learning... all I know is that the bramling cross in the last 15 is going to add an interesting element to the brew (having just done an Extract All-Bramling cross IPA)

I'd say that your grain bill looks good - although personally I might drop the roasted barley as I like quite pale beers.
My opinion on the hop schedule is that it looks a bit "busy" if you know what I mean. I would change it around a bit to give more flavour from the 15 minute addition, plus save some of the hops for flame out to get a lovely big aroma.
Maybe like this:
Bramling Cross 5.5% 10g First Wort Hopped 8.2 IBU
Target 9.6% 10g First Wort Hopped 14.3 IBU
Bramling Cross 5.5% 50g 15 mins 19 IBU
Goldings 4.5% 25g Flame Out / 80C steep 0 IBU
Fuggles 4.8% 20g Flame Out / 80C steep 0 IBU
Just my tuppence worth......however you do it it should come out good!

First wort hopping is putting your first lot of hops in the boiler while running the mash into it, rather than adding them just as it comes to the boil ( i think )
I never stir my steep hops, never thought about it actually, they just get sucked into the wort, so i dont think it really matters though.

As Borodave says....first wort hopping is just chucking the hops into the empty boiler, then running off from the Mash tun onto them so they get the maximum amount of time exposed to hot wort.
As for the flame out ones, just chuck them in as soon as you turn off the heat. Personally, I do give them a good stir for a few minutes, then leave them to steep for half an hour before I run off into the FV.
For hops, in my head I divide them into three additions:
1) 90 min / full boil / First Wort - this is the main bittering addition. You get little hop flavour here, but a lot of the bitterness. If you have hops that aren't known particularly for flavour or aroma, then here's where to use them.
2) 15/20 etc... min - late addition. This is mainly for flavour. The flavour apparently peaks somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes. The volatiles that give the aroma are driven off pretty quickly though. This addition does contribute to bittering as well.
3) End of boil / flame out / 80C steep / hop back etc.....this addition is primarily for the aroma. As above, the aroma gets driven off quickly, so an addition at the end of the boil means that you get lots of aroma left over. This hop addition contributes nothing to bittering at all, so dont be afraid to chuck loads of hops in.

Just putting your suggestion into Beer Smith, and it brings the IBU's down from 50 something, to just over 30.
