Kev; I don't mess about with the stuff. I just drink it, mate :D Saying that? I've had to call a bit of a moratorium on the making, for the now. Been having a fair bit of work done around inside the place. Tradesmen and HB don't mix.

Just about to have the Spark back in, for a couple of extra bits I decided I could do with ~ couple of plug sockets for my newly bought TV and PS. Plus I've bought some adjoining land and out buildings. I'd like them powered up. Internal reveals of my new windows to finish. Then I need my sink ripping out and moving. Shower unit shifting and 'cubicle' installing. Then I'll be about all done. And flat broke! But I'll be clean. I won't be tripping over an extension lead or splitting logs by torchlight.

Don't worry though. These are all good men I employ. Good work promptly done. Then it's back to my solitude and on with my plans for the Coopers Grand Slam! I'm kind of keeping the lid on that, for now. But, suffice to say; With anything up to six different varieties of Coopers potentially on the cards? It could be fun!

Oh! Sorry, lads. Perhaps that was a 'Post Jameson' post I made there? I sometimes burble away without really thinking what I'm saying ..... as ye do!

Right. Ok. Well I'm currently mid Jameson. Also, one of the members of this place rather caught me on the hop, earlier tonight. Sod popped up in my IMS, while I was rather in the thick of things and distracted. He actually asked me the self same question, and got a rather straight answer. I had no thoughts of hiding anything and just blurted out what was on my mind. Which is, basically, this:

I have in store the following;
  • Coopers Stout.
    Coopers Old Ale.
    Coopers Irish Stout.
    MSM.
    DSM.
    Coopers " Beer Enhancer "
So, I intend to make the Old Ale pretty much as the whim takes me.

I'll do the Irish, with MSM ~ because that'll compare with my usual bench mark of Coopers Stout + MSM.

I'll do a 'Regular' Coopers Stout + MSM.

Coopers Stout + DSM.

Coopers Stout + Coopers Beer Enhancer.

Coopers Stout + MSM (Again, because that's my usual bench mark) but with reduced H2O  Might call That one " Ditch Water " ! That'll f*ck 'em!

See? So, this is the plan I have fermenting, in the back of my mind. Just feeling the sea weed and looking for a way of slotting this into my rather idiosyncratic way of life and social calendar here ~ everyone elses social calendar that is.

Anyway. Post Jameson Alert! Best I sod off. Talk too long and I say too much

fair play Mr Sh!tter, I have decided to do all the (non lager) Coopers kits and the Morgans kits, I think Glyn is doing a Morgans kit now, not sure how it turned out.

I've never really been into stout, but reading this thread makes me want to get a brew on.
looks like I might have to lose my virginity again...

 Unless ye absolutely sure, from experience, about Treacle? I'd stick with the sugar. I once experimented with Black Strap Molasses ~ which I imagine would be similar? I found it overwhelmingly overwhelming, in a most Vile way! :out
