Certainly will let you know! did mine on Saturday night, will barrel it off sunday or monday, then the following weekend will go in my little fridge for a few day, (12/14C) this seems to clear my beer a treat, then back to room temprature ready to be drank/condictioned??? well you know what it's like? :twisted:

So Mr Bird? how goes that Stout? mines still bubbling away quite nicely, might take a hydro tomorrow to see what it is? mine started about 1040, so we'll see how she fairs on the morrow? :twisted:

Ello lollypop, bottled it tonight at FG1.010 has been that for 3 days now, had another taste , tastes ok no nasty flavours , will probably crack open a bottle next weekend will let you know how it goes down.

What bottles did you use? and did you prime? and if so how much? I bet it's as dark as that famous Irish drink!!! he he! :lol:

I used newcastle brown bottles ive been collecting, purely for my research into homebrewing you understand :wink:, funny you should ask about primeing as i think i may have not used enough, i primed to the rate of my previous Edme stout brew , have just checked coopers instructions and noticed i should have primed at a higher rate, theres not much difference but hope i havent undercooked it #-o
