Help bottles flat no fizz

Post by escapizm » Thu May 14, 2009 8:36 pm

I bottled a wherry some time ago and was very fizzy so I thought I'd overdone the week in warm. Thinking I new best (evident I do not) the last two kits an IPA with DMA and another wherry with hop tea and dry hops I just. left in the garage thinking it quite warm instead of bringing house as before. Just tried both in preperation for BBQ in 2 weeks. Tasted good, the wherry was just like st peters organic ale (asda).

But theyre both liking the Vikings liked and completely flat. If I put in warm now for a week will this sort it?

am not 100% sure of the answer but i would say put more sugar in rather than more yeast.

I brought crates in from garage 3 days ago and put in conservatory coverred in thick brown towel to stop light strike. Put one in fridge last night and I tried it. Fizz defo coming back. If the beer looks clear is the sedimented yeast still viable as i think this must be doing the trick. AG mash tun coolbox arrives today so im to b&q for supplies :)
