bottle sediment

hi all one quick question about finings, would it be possible to pour my lager from one fv to another adding finings for a couple of days once fermentation has finished to improve clarity and reduce bottle sedimentation, or am i missing something and being really stupid :?:

hey droop

i think, if youre bottling, you need some yeast in suspension for secondary ferment.
using finings might take out too much and not leave anything for carbonation. :D

I go with the SV; brew in the PV for 4-5 days and into SV with a small amount of yeast vit (2 can kits) for another 7 or so and then bottle. I've had no issues with carbonation although I do use 100g of glucose to prime.
