hi dudes i see on all your messages you have list's of what your drinking at the bottom and lots of you have syrian stunner and galaxy ipa, could some one be kind enough to give me the recipe's, have been looking onest but cant find

The styrian stunner recipe i have is

23 L
4.76 Kg Maris Otter 2-Row
51 Grams of Styrian Golding alpha 3.5 at 90 minutes
24 Grams of Styrian Golding alpha 3.5 at 15 minutes
11 Grams of Stryian Golding alpha 3.5 at 7 minutes

although if it was me, id increase the hops quite a lot, espeically the last two additions, im currently drinking a galaxy ipa, my recipe was

5.5kg Maris Otter
250g Medium Crystal
150g Wheat Malt

Hops
15g Galaxy Pellets First Wort
25g Galaxy Pellets 15 mins
25g Galaxy Steep
Yeast us05

its a great beer, defiantly recommended

thanks borodave i even spelt it wrong how do i steep the hops is that put em in while i syphone of the hot wort through my cfc

when you have finished boiling, throwing them in while I coold is what I do, although some people will say chill your wort to 80C , throw your steep hops in for 30 mins then continute chilling, but for now my method works good enough for me.

no problems, if you are serious about brewing the Galaxy IPA then im pretty sure the only place that sells Galaxy hops is http://www.craftbrewer.com.au/ even though they are from aus, including the postage costs they still work about a fiver a packfor hops, which is about a similar price from anywhere in the UK, and the quality of the hops is brilliant, im sure everyone who has used them will highly recommend them.

do you use the flowers or pellets as they have both

I used pellets, but flowers will do exactly the same job

Now then.....the trick with Craftbrewer is to buy about 10 packs at the same time as the postage is the same for anything up to a kilo or so.

ISTR, last order I made was sixteen packs or so of different hops from them and the postage was still only a tenner. Which is awesome from 12,000 miles away! I thought they'd got it wrong at first.

Galaxy is a great hop.

They seem a decent place, so I'd try emailing them and adding a few more hops to the order to make it a bit more worthwhile, im sure they will allow it
