New to brewing and new to site, so hi all. I bought myself a youngs brew buddy
cider starter kit. Aiming to make 32 pints at approx 7%. I do not have a og reading as yet, because starting tonight. fg has to be 998 or less before bottling. will be bottling straight from fv. will be putting level teaspoon sugar in each bottle.
I have read that green or brown bottles are better because of sunlight. This was after i'd collected 76 clear bottles

. They will be kept in the dark anyway.
I was hoping to use sterilised (550) newcastle brown ale bottles (clear). Can someone
please tell me if they think this is a good idea, or would I need to get stronger bottles

I do not want to mame myself on the first batch.
