Coopers Mexican Cerveza anyone made this?

Just wondering if anyone has made this, and there thoughts on it.

indeed. did it around February time to the standard instructions including with ale yeast (+1kg bke) i started drinking as soon as they'd carbonated. it was quite good i thought but a bit cidery/watery. however having left it for a few months it started to taste like a proper lager! still needs a wedge of lime to taste brilliant but its ok...however i do think it would be improved no end with a lager yeast and feremented at a lower temp. i've done a coopers european lager at 13degrees ferment temp recently and tried after just one week in the bottle(its reccomended to leave for 12!) and it was bloody fantastic. held its head much better than the mex aswell. anyways if i were you i'd go for euro lager or do the mex with a lager yeast and you should be pretty happy. oh i'd also reduce brew length to up the abv because theyve both come out between the 4-5%ish mark. i personally think lagers should be about 5% or so and i reduced both brew lengths so if doing the mex i'd be tempted to add some more malt/sugar aswell......wow thats a long/round te houses/slightly neurotic response isnt it???

I think there is a reciped under adapted kit recipes thread. It calls for flaked rice and hops. I actually have a tin of it as home and was going to try that adapted recipe so I will let you know.

I have also done coopers european but mine has v little head on it. It tastes pretty good though.

I done the euro as my first kit, been bottled coming up to 4 weeks done it with 1kg of bke and its hard keeping the mitts off it.

Opened a bottle after a week because I noticed a blemish in the glass and didnt want it to go pop and waste it so of course a week and a half later had to have another just to compare it too the FIL reckons its good and 'much better than the piss the serve up the road' .
