StigSlim; What type of brew ye have in there might be a help to us? That aside, I'd imagine these ambient temperatures aren't helping. Beers generally like a spell in the cold, to clear best.

Beer Spheres and floats? All a matter of personal choice and taste. Personally, I don't like floats of any kind. I feel they rely on too much gas in the brew. I prefer my beers less carbonated

Not certain what ye getting at, about bottling from the barrel. Why did ye 'Keg' ye beer, if ye want it in bottles? Usual procedure's to put it straight into bottles, from the FV.

Anyway, just keeping ye company for a minute, till someone else comes along to pick the bones out of ye questions :)

yeah put it straight into a barrel, thought that was the norm, then i thought about bottles.just curious if i could then bottle or if i had spooned it by putting it in the barrel.I was told about the float idea and just thought it was a good way of not having to wait a million years for a beer lol.And what does re primed mean (barrel to bottles with a little something?) Sorry if i seem a little green but i really am a novice.

Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to each bottle to ensure it carbonates properly.

Apart from that aborted kegging I only bottle now but I have been told as long as there is sufficient CO2 in the keg 6-12 months.

Unless I've missed it, you still haven't told us what kit you have done ? If it's a Woodfordes, I've done Wherrys and Nelson Revenge's, and they take AGES to clear totally, 5 weeks plus. I've now decided to avoid them and stick to Coopers, no nonsense kits !
If I were you I'd leave this one in the barrell, then bottle your next kit, trust me, there will be a next kit! I have 3 on the go currently, once you start this lark you won't stop!
