Has anyone come across a recipe for Timothy Taylors Dark Mild - this is a cracking pint, well worth trying. :D

Here is my mild ale, partial mash. Not exactly to style, but I was aiming for a mild with a little more alcohol, maybe something like a pre WWI mild. Here it is

3.5 lbs British pale malt
0.75 lbs Crystal malt
0.33 lbs British chocolate malt
0.25 lbs Special B
0.15 lbs Black Patent malt
3.3 lbs light malt extract
0.5 lbs light Muscovado sugar

For an all grain brew increase the two row to 7 pounds and remove the extract.

1oz Golding 60minutes
0.5 Golding 15 minutes

Mash at 151 for 60mins

Total volume 5 gallons

O.G. 1.046

Yeast Safale S-04

Next time I would like to use some mild ale malt, to increase the flavor also Danstar Windsor yeast may also be interesting.

Hope it work out for you
