would i be right in thinking that a coopers pale ale or similar would be a good place to start for a lager drinker thinking of going to the dark side (real ale)

I've been buying different stuff to try and gotta say wasn't keen on the pale ale but rather enjoying the 'strong kent ale' I'm supping now!!

Tesco's were doing 3 for 2 on certain bottles and asda 4 for 3 round my way. Things like hobgoblin, old peculiar, speckled hen. I've just been getting different bottles to 'sample' to give me an idea what to do after the famous ditchs stout

Hi!

I brewed this as my second brew and I have to say I was impressed by the results!
Served chilled it is refreshing and goes down very well....
Compared to the comercially available bottles of Coopers Pale ale it is not as hoppy...
However I will make this kit again with the addition of extra hops!

:)
Slainte!
