Fermentation help!

I am still quite new to brewing, this is my 6th batch, I just put in a coopers australian larger yesterday,

I sanitised all equipment,
Rehydrated the yeast ,
Airated the mixture and added yeast vit
Used a Gordy beer kit enhancer instead of brewing sugar,
Then piched the yeast.

And my fermenter is fermenting over the top of the bucket...... What should i do, i dont want to waste thist batch.

Help.. I ll put a picture on photobucket in a minute.

Thanks

Simon

Take the bung and airlock out and clean them(boil the bung for a few minutes to sanitise it again).Leave the bunghole open with a clean cloth draped over the top. When the yeast has finished climbing out, clean the top of the lid and replace the bung and airlock.

I use a screw top FB. After i added the kit, the beer enhancer and 3l of boiling water. I shook the bin for about 3 min untill it had a 4 inch head on it.

I think that this may be tha cause of the vigerous fermentation, along with the use of yeast vit (my first use).

Just checked the FB again, It seems as though the fermentation is getting more vigerous, The temp in the room is showing 22 dec C. Should i try to cool more or should i just ride it out?

Hi 51m017
I've made many coopers including the lovely aus lager.
Just ride it out, it’ll be over the worst very soon. Probably be selling down by Monday morning. I usually put the Fv on a tray to catch any spill over. Just mop it up. I don’t remove the air lock. I usually only put 20-22l in the Fv to leave some room for it to expand. A 4" head is good. Plenty of aeration in the wort. Again don’t panic. Just ride it out.

The head has now dropped just below the bung, So panic is over...

Thanks for all your help.
