I've read on here that the optimum temp for storing beer and serving beer is around 12c and much below this could cause the beer to loose condition. I store my barrels in the shed and with the recent lower outside temperatures I'm concerned what are the side effects could be.
I've recently brewed a Coopers Draught that was clear and bright when barrelled but now, nearly two weeks later, it has darkened in colour and has a slight haze, although the flavour has improved. Could the cold have caused this colour/haze to happen?
Does loosing condition also mean that it would need drinking quicker?
