Coopers IPA

Post by Manx Guy » Thu Aug 13, 2009 11:39 am

Hi,

I've got the Coopers IPA kit and 1kg of DME and a can of LME... so I could go with either of Coopers recomendations for this kit...
Has any one brewed this kit as recommended?
I know the thread where some hops and wheat malt extract was used...

I would like to know:
What its like and is it hoppy ?
How long it should be left to condition in bottles and how much priming sugars people have used...

Many thanks!
:)

Hi, I usually brew it as recommended, I think that is 500g DME and 300g sugar. Makes a nice easy drinking session beer. It doesn't become too light bodied with the sugar but it is an easy quaffer. There is good hop flavour and a little bitterness.

I would use half a tsp of sugar per bottle and drink it as soon as it's carbed :)
