Ale for a lager drinker
Re: Ale for a lager drinker
I still appreciate a glass of good lager but isn't it interesting how so many people have been converted from lager to ale via homebrewing.
As for something to try, my personal fave brew and one the stopped at least 4 lager drinkers in their tracks was the Stonewall Bitter from the York Brewery. When I brewed this up, I bottled it and instead of priming with sugar, I added a jar of honey. I know this is not to everyones tastes but I do like the honey brews you can get commercially and this was certainly up there with them.

I'm still really a lager drinker but this stuff is great.

Me and our lass started on a batch a few days ago and I've already had to go buy another kit to get another lot on for when it runs out.
