now the ipa is nearly ready for bottling
im after some advice as to what to do next
been looking at the brupaks beers of the world from hopandgrape.co.uk
thinking either
belgian trappist dubbel or the triple thinking as the brew room cools this should suit the belgian long slow cool ferment
or i quite like the sound of the san fransisco steam ale
although i found it strange that the belgians are recommended to bottle into 1/2 pint or 33cl bottles why?

Many Belgium brews are quite strong and I also believe that's how they serve most beers in halves not pints. I highly recommend Brewferm kits just put 2 more on today.

The Brewferm kits are definitely worth the effort. Pretty much all of them require additional malt. The instrustion come with a genreic guide for all their products and how much to add.

I never put extra malt with mine, unlike many British Ales most Belgium Ales are traditionally brewed with additional sugar, properly candi sugar.booldawg wrote:The Brewferm kits are definitely worth the effort.
