I suppose I'll end up sooner or later with a 'user-upper' brew :)

I have just done 2 brews.............at ech end of the colour range.
The lighter one used fuggles for "bittering" with a big finish of cascase late on.
The dark end was "guinness" using just target. :D

I've got 3 types:

Fuggles (nearly 1kG)
Challenger
Goldings

I can brew nearly all the beer I want to brew with those. Might get some Northdown at some point to do a Tanglefoot clone. Thought about getting some Styrians to do a Burton Bridge Golden Delicious but having tried the real thing I found the taste of Styrians rather unpleasant so I'll use ordinary Goldings if I brew that for next summer.
Best wishes

Styrians are my favourite, I urge you to reconsider.

Ahem, currently I have

Saaz
Hersbrucker
Mittlefruh
Northern Brewer
Cascade (NZ and US)
Green Bullet
Nelson Sauvin
Pacifica
Styrians
Boadicea
Challenger
Golding
Amarillo
Centennial
Chinook
Columbus
Horizon
Magnum
Liberty
Mount Hood
Santiam
Sterling
Warrior

Apart from goldings (which I'm starting to run low on) - I'm not buying any hops for a while.... oh and maybe some Riwaka and Motueka as I just made a cracking beer with those two.

Thank god I'm not alone
It's a bit like stamp collecting

I currently have
W.G.V
US Golding
Fuggles
Styrians
Challenger
Cascade
Pioneer
Pilot
Bravo
Williamette
Admiral
Liberty
Glacier
Herkules
Chinook
Bramling Cross

But I am resisting the urge for further purchases at the moment
Perhaps we could start a 'hop buyers' anonymous group and should one of us feel the overpowering desire to purchase more we could ring a help line to get some counselling? :D :D

Or perhaps just get and brew more beer \:D/ \:D/ :pink: :pink: :flip: :flip:

Is there much difference between the two?

There is a bit of a difference but they're more similar than the Argentine Cascade (actually I've got those as well) - the argie cascade are pretty different.

So it really is ok to have what some may call a hop problem then ?

Current stock is :

Amarillo
Boadicea
Cascade
Centenniel
Challenger
Fuggles
EKGs
Hallertauer Hersbruker
Lublin
Magnum
Maryanka
Nelson Sauvin
Northdown
Northern Brewer
Progress
Saaz
Styrians
Target
WGV

I've recently made a beer using up some dog ends of styrians, amarillo and EKGs which has turned out really well, especially considering that it was brewed to tidy up my stock
