Like everything else from Yorkshire it's over-hyped. It's a competent bitter. Nothing to rave over though.

I live in Yorkshire and I like it, that's all I have got to say on the matter [-X
It's just his jealous side coming out :wall :)

I live in Australia and have had the chance to try a few bottles of TTL , it is a nice drop .So much so that I am in the throws of brewing it next week . I am no expert on tasting and I found it to be , roasty ,toasty and with a good malt backbone , the hops have a pleasant earthy note to them . I will buy some more just to remind me of how good it tastes . From what I have read on this forum about TTL it is a bit of a hit and miss from the cask and the bottle . I have found they always send the good stuff overseas and the locals end up with the crap no matter what country you live in .

Cheers

Done that. Been to a lot of other places in Yorkshire too. It's no better than anywhere else in England I've been to (and I've been to most of it).

He He! Thats got those up north chomping....... Me nan's from leeds, and two of the most friendly hospitable nights out have been in Halifax- I'm a Londoner (that should get a reaction!) The two best ever pints ive tasted have been TTL from a "tourist" pub by Kensington Palace in London- lots of turnover, good cellarman. The second was a pint of "ProperJob" in a very secluded pub in Gravesend in Kent- Thats ma two peneth worth.....
