Hi all, i've got a woodfordes Headcracker to make over the weekend. Havn't made anything for about 12 months and havn't done this kit before.
Just wondered is the yeast supplied any good or should I use something else.
Also not sure whether I should do the fermentation in loft or spare bedroom. What would be an ideal room temp?
Many thanks

Re: Headcracker - which yeast
You want a temperate of about 20C. If you want to use a different yeast then S-04, US-05, Nottingham or Windsor would all work. It depends on what characteristic you're looking for.
Best wishes

I take it that temp is what the liquid should be and not the ambient temp?
