I've been having trouble with my hop strainer lately, ever since i've started chilling the wort inside the boiler and allowing the hops to form a bed. When I do this, the wort slows down to a trickle within seconds especially when brewing a beer with alot of hops.
Would sawing a few more slots in the strainer help? Or should I buy/build something else.
Wow mind reading, deja vu, voodoo
I went and bought these bits today and was going to ask whether slots or holes
Question answered
Never had a hop strainer before
I just placed the back of the spoon over the inlet of the tap and let the hops settle
