after 10 days it was sitting at the 45 grams sugar per liter level i tested this a few times during the day before barraling no idea what this means does it mean its a water tating beer or is it beer mmmm or is it just a waste hmm cheers guys

Most people dont bother..............I always use one. It certainly won't harm your brew so why not?

I tend not to use yeast nutrients unless it sticks during fermentation. Put many people do use it to help the yeast on their way.
Re: fermantation
again scotmoss ta if fermentation did stick with a lager what would be the best yeast nutriant iv had a look but thers is a few out there also iv just ordered a few s33 safbrew is this a good yeast and what the hell do you do with finings my old man used to talk about them and what are good finings

Re: fermantation
I'm not sure about which yeast nutirents are the best, I think I just have a tub of youngs yeast nutirents. I always have a pabk of yeast just incase of stuck fermentation, I will add a new sachet of yeast and a spoon of yeast nutirents.
Finings will make the beer/wine clear quicker (within a couple of days), I don't use finings as I don't mind waiting for a couple of weeks for it to clear.
