What would you ask Brewdog?

Next weekend I will be heading up to Fraserburgh to pester Brewdog for a couple of days...

Silly question, but does anyone have any particular queries they would like me to ask them?

No. Although I doubt that'll stop them telling you how incredible they are.

I know its late, but how about asking them when they intend to brew a beer below 20% abv? Because that would make refreshing change.

I would ask them do they have an plans to formulate a beer around a yeast with more character (other than the belgian and lager they do). There beers seem to be almost exclusively hop driven would make a nice change of pace to have something that let the character of a nice yeast come to the fore.

thats a good one, i would like to see what they could do with some experimentation on yeasts, they have been very much about hops so far.

196osh visted and I believe he said they use US-05 for most things and W 34/70 for the lager. I think there was another English yeast (from Sheffield?) for a couple of other beers.

Most of them are well under 10%.

A couple I'd like to ask:

Is it cheaper to have alcohol concern Scotland as a marketing company generating column inches than paying their own people

Hype and hyperbole aside where do they think innovation can and should come from in brewing? Who else do they rate bfor pushing the boundaries (if not the buttons)?

Can they do something using chipotle and chocolate - smoked chilli and chocolate is a divine combo and a beer needs to come out soon and they'd be the people to do it.

ASIDE:
I love BrewDog for sticking two fingers up to the socks-and-sandlas old-gittery CAMRA frequently seems to display... (And seems from the huge number of comment son Roger's stick-in-the-mud blog I'm not alone in this view) They're putting exciting real ale out there in a different way and appealing in a way others aren't... They're punks, they're brash and they're spouting a lot of crap but I always love it when someone rocks the boat as the real ale boat has been very stable and very mellow and staid for too long. I don't love everything they do by any means but I'm glad they exist... and think some of the points here about yeast characters are very astute (when will they do a wheat beer? rye beer?) it's nice to see something different on the block.

Hmmm - shares issue, I think this company is an interesting investment opportunity, they certainly know how to get people taking notice of them...
