Hello everyone
I have brewed about a dozen or so kits so far, have had great fun ,and probably will not buy commercial lager again.
So far I have only tried the coopers range ,and was wandering how I can get a maltier taste,so far have tried adding all the additional sugar in spraymalt, and used saflager yeast once, which after a month tastes very smooth.
Any ideas, also what other lagers do you think are worth a try.

Re: How to get a maltier taste
You could try replacing all of the sugar with spraymalt, or go for a 3kg all malk kit such as Brupaks Special Lager.ahuckle wrote:Hello everyone

Start by buying some flavapaks and using those according to instructions first, that's the easy intro to steeping grains and pepping the beer up with some fresh hops.
