to be honest, unless you have yeasts in stock, I'd be straight back to the shop and demand one, if online ring them and ask them to send you one.

You can buy sachets of yeast from Homebrew shops (real life or online) that come with the perfect amount for brewing a 40 pint kit. Safale S04 made by fermentis is a favourite for kits around here.

i'd ditch the kit yeast anyway its probably not a true lager strain,go for saflager s 23..if you got your kit from a hb shop they should give you it for nothing..

Brewferm lager yeast also seems a good one, remember for these true lager yeasts you'll ideally want to ferment a little cooler (10-15C)

Else grab nottingham - works at huge range of temps and very neutral...

Losing kit yeast probably a blessing in disguise - if you;re really lucky you'll run out of sugar too and have to use DME ;)
