As per subject really .... difference between a Hambleton Bard Super 30 and a Widget World gas cylinder?. I can find the odd fuzzy picture on t'internet - the WW looks like a male thread (or at least the control handle looks to be female) and the Super 30 looks female (to screw onto the barrel?). Is this right?. Can a Super 30 be adapted to take a WW control handle?.
Cheers

Difference between Super 30 and Widget bottle?
DaaB - a gold mine of information (must admit I had forgotten about the Corni keg link
). There's usually a Super30 cylinder on Ebay but sounds like the Widget system is the to go for. I've got the barrel adaptor but don't think I'll ever get round to fitting it to the MiG/pub cylinder - it's just easier to get a Widget cylinder (hint to Orfy if you're reading this!)

The LHB does both. Just pondering what Ebay has to offer - I can't recall finding a widget setup but there's usually a super 30 cylinder or 2 (I guess this is where the term S30 for the thread size comes from). Forunately I have not needed to gas the last two brews, and the Nelsons Revenge is very lively at the moment (and not quite ready but very nice .... must resist!).

Yep, My S30 has just leaked empty. Another trip to the Farnorough Homebrewshop today....any excuseDaaB wrote: S30 cylinders an have a tendancy to leak when the pressure drops. This is because the shut off valve relys on gas pressure to opperate.

Prompted by the good things said about Cornie's I've just bought one (Norman, ebay) and will be going over to Large Cylinder/Regulator dispense. Are the CO2 regulator boards with multiple outlets worth it? Assume there will be multiple Kegs! Norman's got one or two on eBay now.
