Hi.
I brew all grain and very occasionally do a kit. I was given a Norfolk Nog kit for christmas and wondered if i should just crack on or do you kit guys have any tips to get the best out of it? Do you stick with the yeast in the kit? Any water treatment etc?
Any thoughts are mucho appreciated.

Cheers.

I've done it twice and just did it as is, I haven't had issues with stuck ferments but then I leave the fermentation a month or so in primary with no secondary, always produced a cracking pint of dark ale for me......every new Woodfordes kit I tried was the best one I'd tried to date.

Well its done. Took about a tenth of the time of all grain
Only thing i did extra was to rehydrate the yeast in some of the wort from my fermenter. It started foaming quickly and i added it after about thirty minutes.
Oh well. I look forward to tasting it! 8)
