Yeah, I noticed that a few days ago. Not impressed! I would love to grow a few hop plants in the spring but I would have no idea how to go about getting some rhizomes.

I, and some others, got hops from 'Beer Essentials' last year - details on this link:

IIRR he only did first gold, but they were reasonably cheap (I paid £12 for three plants including postage) and came in plant form - therefore only requiring planting. I only got three hop cones from the plants :oops: , but I put that down to the fact I planted them in pots but did not water them enough to compensate.

I only got about 10 cones - that's the way it is for the first year. Years two and three (and onwards) should see a substantial increase in yield 8)
