No problem. I will be doing that next week. My first attempt at a belgian strong dark ale.

Basically a chimay clone. Shouldbe fun.

Should I pitch the whole yeast cake? Or work out via the calculator?

In any case I was planning on decanting the yeast into a sanitised container the day of thebrew or the day before so can get conditions as bacteria free as possible in the FV.

That's what I do, decant the beer, save the yeast, clean and sanitise the same FV, then get the cooled wort into the FV with a measured amount of yeast.

Good stuff. Thats what I was thinking.

I bought a board and bindings yesterday. A Ride Agenda and some Ride Lx Bindings. Both bottom of the range (cheap cost me £214 all in inc delivery), but the board in particular is aparently pretty good. I'm looking forward to going to xscape to try it out.

Just a quick update.

This guy took a Silver medal at the International Beer Challenge. Pretty chuffed with it.
