FSOS with Challenger

Thinking of making another batch of Four Shades of Stout but using Challenger instead of Cascade.
Any thoughts on this? Anyone tried it ?

Well, it's done.

50g of challenger for 60 min and the last 8 grams of the bag at 10 minutes for around 30 IBUs.

Will report back with findings in due course. :)

Think I used Challenger in my Black Dog Stout, worked very nicely indeed for the bitterness.

How did it turn out? I have aurora (super styrian) or challenger to sub for cascade so intrigued on experiences

I made it with Fuggles - no reason why it shouldn't work with challenger I don't think! Think I went for about 40 IBU.
